Storm of the Century!

Last night was probably the worst storm/camping experience that I've ever had. Around 2 or 3am I woke up to some person tripping into my tent. GRRRRRR! I still don't know who it was. Anyways, about 5 minutes later I could tell that a storm was blowing in so I zipped up the side flaps on my tent all the way and laid back on my inflatable mattress. There was lots of wind and lightning so I started to count the storm in. By that I mean count how many seconds it was between the flash of light and the sound of thunder. The storm was close and getting closer by the second with increasing amounts of thunder and lightning and decreasing amounts of time between each strike. Pretty soon the wind really picked up and my tent started shaking in every direction. I was praying at that moment I did a quality job setting up the tent. Soon enough the worst was over and I started counting away the storm, and eventually fell back to sleep. The rain however continued and after 6 hours of constant heavy rain my tent started to leak in moisture. Drip.....drop....steadily on my face and body until finally I pulled the covers right over me.
