Teacher's Stress Nightmares

I had my first stress nightmare last night for the upcoming year. Basically, it was the first day of school and the last period of the day. I apparently had two new assistants, and man and a woman, who's idea of assisting was sitting back in the the corner and taking notes on their legal pads whilst complaining about how much they hated this class. Then the students began to enter the classroom. All students I knew though, but they were kids from other schools. It was a crazy free-for-all as the students just wandered around the room, didn't listen to what I was saying, I even felt myself yelling at one point!

I have these dreams from time to time when school starts getting close and I think about what the upcoming year will be like. "I can't believe that it's not even July," I thought "and I'm already freaking out." Although I will say that after writing this, in a strange way I'm ready to start back. I really do love choir and love teaching my kids. It's just really taxing and you never know what's gonna happen.
