I think it's really cool when current actors try to re-shoot famous freeze frames from movies. Recently Vanity Fair did a photo shoot to re-enact some of those scenes, and my favorite was this shot of Seth Rogan from North by Northwest.


Now most of the other shoots were done with actors that actually look or were similar to the original. Seth's shot was obviously done for the sake of comedy. I mean there is nothing about Seth Rogan that is reminiscent of Cary Grant, and the fact that his tummy is poking out of the bottom of the shirt as he runs says enough.
