A very sad ending...

There is only one more episode of one of my favorite shows, Ugly Betty, and on the eve of yet another fantastic show coming to an end I am finding myself sad again. I started watching this show when I came out and now it's like a friend that relocates out of the country. I don't think I realized how much I loved this show until the past few weeks when the series took a major upswing and plots began to twist and turn and gays were coming out too and fro. I really believe that this show helped to bolster the gay community into mainstream America. It's now acceptable to see two high school boys dancing at a sister's wedding, or two men joking about "fooling around in the bushes." Not to mention how I've fallen in love with the characters. It's just sad to have it all end. Let's all take a moment and remember what Ugly Betty has done for you.
