Wednesday Night Recap - 5/07/08

Tonight's "Wednesday Night" had some interesting flavors. To start off there was no Ruben, no Andrew, and no Matty. But no worries, Sarah brought in some ringers with the third and official entrance of Monica, Paul for the second week in consection (a word I just made up), and a strong and anxious appearance of Toby "the chimney" Lee. PS>>>we all wish you luck on the interview tomorrow!! Someone's gonna move to the top of my prayer list.

About the food:
The Roast was barely even dry, but in all truths, this was my favorite meal of any Wednesday Night. I would be interested to see what you guys favorite meal was????? I don't have lots of childhood memories, let's just be honest for a minute, but in between dishes flying, no hugging, and being uninvited to Thanksgiving dinner, I do have one fond memory of my family sitting down to eat lunch every Sunday after church to a roast and potatoes and carrots meal. So thank you Sarah for taking us back tonight! I bought lots of crescents so that I could have as many as I wanted....and I did. Monica upped the annie by bring ice cream, toppings, and wait for it....waffle cone bowls. Amazin! On a side note...I did make the best pizza dough in all of history. Can't wait to eat it tomorrow for lunch.

Other:
The music really set the tone. I remember thinking this morning when I woke up, as I do most mornings,"Is John Secata really out of my life forever?" and sure enough tonight he snuck his way back in. Thank you John Secata for all those...song. The conversation on the porch was way to serious except for me and Cynthia who threw in the occassional Sarah's a slut comments. We make a good team.

I can't write anymore....I'm so tired....and the foot monkey is back....

it's never been the crust that you've had the issue with. the fillings...that's where we need a little more effort. (i thought you'd appreciate a jab from the past)

The roast was damn good - thank you Sarah - and the cresent rolls were soft and warm - thanks Mike! The best line of the night was from Mike and directed to Toby, "How did we ever live without spray butter?" I don't know? How did we ever manage to get along for so long without it??? And for the spray butter, i need to thank Fabio!
