Excellent Wednesday Night!
Mattyboys send off "Wednesday Night" was a great success. I think my favorite part of the night was the food...as it usually is. I think Sarah wins the award for best component with the beer brats and the goulash type mixture of onions and meat juice :) Still a little bit salty though. I think Sarah may be trying to give us all Sodium poisoning. Lovies! The mashed potatoes were a little dry, although the only way to fix it would have been to add milk to it once it arrived and then re-whip. Kudos to you Monica for making the potatoes from scratch. Toby's bread was good and I don't think we ran out this week.
Next week I will be doing the grilling and making the burgers. There is also a special dessert that I have planned that you will have to wait for :)
Welcome to Willard and also to Jenny. We look forward to having them in future "Wednesday Nights." The sad news was that neither Andrew nor Ruben could attend, but I am hoping that next week for the pool party everyone will be able to come and swim. It will be the Summer kick-off "Wednesday Night."
