“But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written: "Be holy, because I am holy.”- 1 Peter 1:15-16

It's strange how growing up, or life circumstances, can completely change your perspective on what at one time would be considered a foundational belief system. I felt two contradicting emotions about this verse when I read it tonight. One, I was encouragment at the call of humanity to be holy (set apart) from the world and to do it because God says he is holy. I have also begun to feel somewhat skeptical of what I believe (Salvation by the Holy Spirit through Jesus Christ) in comparison to other religions. I read scripture and take it on faith to be Truth, but am, at times, filled with doubt. Maybe that's normal, maybe that's a result of distance from Jesus, maybe it's a result of growing older and perspective altering as a result of personal life experience.

Regardless I am too tired for any of this to be taken seriously :) Night night world
