Thursday Morning *update*

Alright....so it's been a crazy week and I am starting to get ready for my return to Houston/civilization. I mean I love being here, but there's only so much hillbilly that one person can take.

Here's a few pictures from this week:

This is me trying to avoid the fire. The only thing I hate about fire is having the smoke come straight in your face. Although...I will say it's pretty funny when it happens to someone else!

This is just a cool picture I took of Ben. We were out on the boat and he was about to jump in and do a little water skiing.

There's a really cool trail at the State Park and I haven't done it since 2003. I really wanted to do it again but I couldn't find anyone to go with me so I went alone. Definitely one of the rockiest trails I have ever been on and all the way there was tons of poison Ivy. I took a picture so that everyone in the camp knew how to identify it. For Jimmy, ben's dad, it was already too late!!

This is me on the trail with my throwing knife. I kept thinking I was going to be attacked by a mountain lion after spraining my ankle and I was going to have to kill the beast with only my knife and my wit. Which is more sharp no one knows! Then I was going to make a split with the leg bone of the lion and tie it with a vine from the woods. Thank you Bear Grills for all you have taught me!

Ok...so I really wanted a Margarita at Gaston's last night. So I went to the bar and asked the lady working if she could make me a margarita. Her response was....She looked behind her at the extensive wall of liquor, looked back and me and said, uh...yah. I felt so sheepish, but I was so thankful for Mr. Patron that i didn't care. Although I will say there was an odd vibe between myself and her for the rest of the night. Oh well....at least I was buzzed!

I will be home late Saturday night. Can't wait to see my roomie Sarah and my baby Blake. Love you sweetie :)
